Combine easy electronics with creative cardboard crafting thanks to this all-inclusive set. Inside the box, you will find everything that you need to make 4 projects, plus some extra electronic components to create your own ideas!

🚀 The first two projects (A & B) are space-themed cards with LEDs that will light up once finished. The perfect gift for a special friend or family member is a DIY gift like these cards!

Both cards contain a visual aid of the electronic circuit printed on the inside. This way, you will know exactly where the copper tape and all components need to be. These components include one or two LEDs and a resistor. The use of these components is explained in the manual. For the connection, you can either choose to solder these components onto the copper tape or use an extra piece of copper tape to connect them to the circuit. Once you have finished the circuit, the battery will be held into place thanks to a paper clip.

🌍️  The third project (C) is a cute little cube with 3 RGB LEDs. These LEDs will shine different colours in multiple effects. The cube die cut is pre-cut and includes a printed visual aid of the electronic circuit. Fun fact: the entire cube is made with a special laser cutter for cardboard. To finish it off, little slots were lasered through the cardboard to show you where to place the split pins that will hold the cube together once folded.

The ‘windows’ of the cube are cut into the shape of the Whadda mascot Whaddy. Some tracing paper is also included in the set so you can nicely finish off the cube and create a diffused effect from the LEDs.

🪐 Lastly, you can convert the Whadda box into a lightbox by cutting your own unique design in the lid. We chose to cut out a lot of stars that form the little and big dipper, but feel free to create your own design!  Add the electronics on the inside of the box, just like you did with the little Whaddy cube and enjoy your own creation.

After finishing these 4 projects, you will notice that there are still some extra components left. And depending on how thrifty you used the copper tape during the previous projects, you should have enough left for several extra projects with cardboard. Go nuts and share your creations!

To make each project, you will need to connect the electronic components by using conductive copper tape. You read that right, soldering is optional! You can choose to either tape or solder the components to create a connection. The components include a battery, a resistor and one or more LEDs in various colours. The manual is illustrated with pictures and a simple explanation in 5 languages. The only extra tools you need are scissors, pliers and some glue.
